If your child did not participate in a spring sport (grades 9-12), please follow the directions below.
The MSAD #51 Athletic Department implemented a NEW REGISTRATION system. The NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS will streamline all our student-athlete information and align with POWERSCHOOL.
Our new system is integrated within our existing PowerSchool Parent Portal. In order to use this system you must log into your Parent Powerschool Account (separate from your child’s Powerschool login). This is the same account many of you have been using to take part in the Alert Solutions Notification system. Please note that your child’s PowerSchool login will not work for this system. You will have to log into your own account if you have not yet done so.
If you have not created a parent account or need help with your account email Patty Normandeau at firstname.lastname@example.org or for assistance.
When you log-on to the Parent Portal you will see 2 new links in the left navigation bar called “Athletic Information” and “Athletic Teams”.
The following MUST BE COMPLETED on Athletic Information for your student to participate:
• Student/Parent Emergency contact information
• Read and agree to Participation Form
• Read and Agree to Assumption of Risk Form
• Read and agree to Maine Concussion Management Initiative
• Read and agree to “Rules Common to All Programs”
The Athletic Teams link is where you will select the sport(s) your child wishes to participate on during the upcoming season and season’s going forward.
All students must have a current medical exam form on file. The $75 athletic fee is due on the first day of preseason (excluding football). These forms are attached.
